The recent changes from NAR in regards to the lawsuit for compensation went into effect August 17, 2024. From now on, all buyers and sellers who want representation from an agent, must sign a contract with their commission fees. I've been doing this for 19 years now and I have negotiated many different things in a transaction but now I will be also negotiating my pay.
